Allyson Pequita, BCBA, CRC specializes in working with adolescents and young adults with cognitive, emotional, and behavior concerns that impact their ability to function in school, home, community, and work environments. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. She has been working with children, adolescents, and adults for over 15 years in clinical, educational, home, and vocational settings.
Allyson completed her Education Specialist degree in Applied Behavior Analysis at Bay Path College in Longmeadow MA and her Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling at Springfield College in MA. Recently she was the project manager for the Walgreens Initiative Program for the State of Connecticut. She helped design and implement a positive and supportive competitive work environment for individuals with disabilities, particularly those with autism spectrum disorder. This project has also resulted in numerous successful outcomes for young adults with disabilities and is being used nationally as a model for developing other employer partnerships. She particularly enjoys working with adolescents and young adults with disabilities and their families in the school and community environments developing positive behavioral supports for youth in transition.
