Debby Clarke, M.Ed., BCBA, LBA is a Board Certified, Licensed Behavior Analyst with over thirty years of experience working with individuals with Autism, Developmental Disabilities, Physical Challenges and Behavioral Challenges. Debby specializes in providing support for children, adolescents and adults in the acquisition of skills necessary for interactive and satisfying inclusion in their academic, social and vocational pursuits in instructional environments, at home and in the community.
Employing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, individual instructional, behavioral and/or transitional needs are assessed and requisite instructional and/or support strategies developed and implemented to encourage skill acquisition and successful experiences in their activities. Through in-person consultation and direct interactions with the individual, Debby assists caregivers and support staff in creating and implementing positive behavioral responses to increase the individual’s skills while decreasing behavioral challenges that may be interfering with day to day activities.
Debby also has an extensive experiential background in the assessment of need and subsequent development of Transition Assessments that can assist academic staff and parents/caregivers in providing the instructional and experiential learning activities necessary to achieve independence in many facets of independent adult living.
