James Levine, Ph.D., LICSW is the company’s founding director and has been in this role since 1998. Since that time, JLA has grown from three to more than 25 clinicians, with four teams that provide outpatient services, school consultation and professional development, autism interventions, and a full array of testing services. He provides consultation, supervision and training across New England as well as nationally, focusing primarily on the intersection among trauma, mental health and behavioral issues. He works with clinical and teaching staff, families, public agency staff and has a special expertise in consulting to school principals. Dr. Levine’s book, Learning from Behavior, was published in hardcover, paperback and international editions.
