Mara Veronesi, LICSW enjoys engaging in the therapeutic process with people of all ages, from late adolescents to elders. She uses a diverse approach to addressing client needs, bringing compassion and acceptance to tough situations while assisting individuals, couples, and families as they deal with mental health issues and life challenges which affect the quality of their lives. Mara uses a variety of techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Family Systems theory, and Solution Focused therapy. Through the use of mindfulness and awareness practices, Mara offers a safe space where people are supported as they bring balance into their busy and often complicated lives.
With a background as an educator, Mara holds a Bachelor of Arts from Western New England University, a Master of Arts in Applied Theology from Elms College, and a Master of Social Work from Springfield College.
Aware of the benefits of being centered and focused within our own lives, in her spare time Mara enjoys meditation and yoga practices as well as hiking and biking outdoors.
