Susan Tefft has over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults in community mental health, hospital and private practice settings. Ms. Tefft has a foundation in psychodynamic and relational theories to which she adds training in cognitive behavioral therapy, stress management and mindfulness approaches to treatment. With a strong background in the arts, Ms. Tefft brings a unique and creative approach to working with and encouraging all her clients in the expressive use of creativity in their healing process. Ms. Tefft is adept at working with issues of anxiety, panic and stress; depression, grief and loss; communication and relationship issues; attention deficit disorder, organizational and focusing skills; and reflective personal growth as one moves through stages of life seeking greater understanding of and comfort with themselves and their relationships. Ms. Tefft received her MSW from the Smith College School for Social Work.
